Mooney Family | Spring 2019

It’s been a year already since the Mooneys had their first session with me. We started with a Mother’s Day mini session when Anna was pregnant with their baby boy and in the fall, we had another one when James was born! Recently, I have seen some in-home sessions, and I thought it was such a sweet idea but didn't know where to begin. Well, this past semester, for my last design project, we had to design and prototype a product. I chose to do a mini bookshelf with mini book spice bottles (see below!), inspired by Kristin Made, the Magnolia Table, and Anthropologie—really in love with that white and woody look right now. I remembered Anna’s lifestyle posts on Instagram (@this.mooney.nest); her kitchen was perfect for my product, and I reached out to her and she gladly invited me over!

In exchange, I wanted to gift them a family session in their beautiful home☺️ I was so in love with their space and with them! We had so much fun playing games and listening to Disney music! I’m so glad I was able to capture something personal and close to their heart, something they can look back on, with a smile, for years to come—the true goal of my passion.
